Day 01 Yangon Arrival
Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. The tour continue to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, a huge reclining Buddha image, extended visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Dine and overnight in Yangon.
Day 02 Yangon – Mandalay
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Morning boat trip crossing Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun.In Mingun, visit Pondaw Paya, Settawya Paya, Mingun Pahtotagyi Paya, Mingun bell, Hsinbyume Paya. After lunch, visit to Mahamuni Buddha Image where the festival is held. Enjoy till the evening and return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 03 Mandalay
Morning sightseeing tour includes at Zey-gyo-daw Market for shopping. In the evening, proceed to U Pein Wooden Bridge of teak wood and Amarapura Township where Myanmar traditional hand-woven silk workshops are observed and dinner will be at a local restaurant and over night at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day 04 Mandalay – Yangon
After breakfast, transfers to the airport for your flight to Yangon. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon tour continues with the Bo Gyoke (Scott’s) Market; and Chinatown. Then, enjoy your dinner at a local restaurant and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 05 Yangon – Home
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to the Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight. It will be the end of your great experience on the wonderful trip with METT.
