Day 01: Arrival Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by our representative. Check in to hotel. Afternoon, join in the Water Festival activities! Evening Welcome Dinner. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Mandalay
Take morning flight from Yangon to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, transfer to the hotel for check-in. After lunch spend all day celebrating the Water Festival. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 03:Mandalay
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Afterward, transfer to jetty for boat trip on the Irrawaddy River to Mingun about 11km upriver from Mandalay with visits to the the Pathodawgyi Paya , built as one of the world’s largest chedis by King Bodaw Paya; Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tons and being the largest uncracked bell in the world and then visit Myatheindan Zedi. In the afternoon, drive to Amarapura, visit U Bein Bridge, Mahamuni Pagoda, Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung wooden monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book. In the evening, you can call it a day by enjoying the sun setting at Mandalay Hill. Stay overnight in Mandalay.
Day 04:Mandalay – Yangon
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and fly back to Yangon. Arrive Yangon, and enjoy last day of Thingyan and overnight in your hotel.
Day 05: Yangon – Home
After leisure morning, transfer to the Yangon International Airport for your onward departure flight. It will be the end of your great experience in one of Myanmar Festival on the wonderful trip with METT.
