Day 01: Arrival Yangon (L/D)
International arrival to Yangon. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon, excursion to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha and Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the wonders of the world and the most venerated Buddhist Monument in Myanmar, where one can see the lifestyle of Myanmar People. Strolling in downtown in the evening. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 02: Yangon – Bagan (by flight) (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a flight from Yangon to Bagan. Upon arrival Bagan, visit Nyaung U Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century; Wetkyi-inn Gubyaukyi Temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes. Next stop is Htilominlo situated close to the road between Nyaung U and Bagan, built by king Nantaungmya in 1218 and traces of old murals are also still visible. Continue to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery with beautiful, well-preserved 18th century murals. Make a photo stop At Thatbyinnyu 'Omniscient' Temple, one of the highest in Bagan, rises to 61m and was built by Alaungsithu around the mid-12th Century. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon tour includes Manuha Temple, built in a Mon Style in 1059, Nampaya Temple, unique sandstone edifice said to be the residence of King Manuha; and sunset viewing from Bagan's temples. Stay overnight at your hotel in Bagan.
Day 03: Bagan – Mandalay (Cruise) (B/L/D)
Awaken to the tranquil rhythms of river life. Early morning Transfer to the Jetty to reach Mandalay. As the boat cruises down steam, you will travel through spectacular scenery filled with temples dotting the shoreline, small villages and fishing boats passing by. The boat will reach Mandalay jetty around and you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and stay overnight in Mandalay.
Day 04: Mandalay – Yangon – Departure (B/L)
After breakfast, back to Yangon by morning flight. After arrival in Yangon, the day ends with time for free and easy shopping adventures at Bogyoke Scott Market to browse and bargain freely among the hundreds of stalls for great souvenirs. Savor bargains delights and thrills of shopping among the many stalls and hawkers along the streets of Chinatown. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for departure.
